Camping holidays are popular the world over; from the cold snow of Alaska to the heat of the middle East, people will travel hundreds or thousands of miles to get back to the basics and camp out in the wilderness. In fact, pitching a tent is just one part of the experience. There are many other activities to be considered once the holiday has begun.
Although it may sound like an obvious activity, many forget that in the wilderness around them, there are a wealth of both popular and unknown trails that can provide hours, even days (if you take your tent with you!) of hiking opportunities. Just remember to pack sturdy boots, a first aid kit, and enough food (and treats!) for the trip.
